Delight Fortuna can't be termed as a hotel. Considering the cold weather of Lachen, this place doesn't have any arrangements to take care of your requirements. The hotel rooms are dank cold which are very very uncomfortable in my opinion. The food served is decent but the lunch room is not at all comfortable by any standards. There's no concept of room service here though the staff is courteous enough. Lastly, the access to the hotel (so called!) is also difficult compared to other options. If you're looking for a stay in Lachen and you have small or young kids with you, I won't recommend this place by any means. No great Vibes here or great memories can be had at this place.

Couple of points I want to mention on the rating I gave :- Good points :- Big rooms with hot water facility Checked the RT PCR test reports before check-in Worst Points :- The Manager or perhaps the person leading the hotel was a big liar and commented weird logics to serve veg in the hotel. I had been visiting North Sikkim a couple of times before and was really shocked with his understanding of nature and how to behave with the boarders in the hotel. We had no towels in the room and after a lot of complain we received it at night which is just unacceptable when you have reached after a long journey. Same goes for an extra blanket as well. So bottom line, there are other much cheaper options with better facility rather that this hotel.

This is a new hotel from Delight Group. The hotel was very well built, nice architecture. Room are decent, very clean with very comfortable beds. Since Lachen is an extremely remote place and weather remains unfavourable in most of the time, availability of general resources are also very scarce. So all the hotels there somewhat lacks with the amenities. Power is a also major issue there. Still under the able leadership of the Manager Mr. Dipak Ray, all the staff members of Delight Fortuna try their level best to satify the guests. Food is basic yet tasty and hygenic. I ahve given 4 star only for the service received and the warmth of behaviour Dipak Da.

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay in. The rooms are filthy. The staff admitted to not having changed the bedding since the last one week because it was raining. They will not serve you any food even if you’re booked under the meal plan. You have to carry your own food OR ELSE STARVE. The service could not have been worse. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. There are a lot of options in Lachen, please don’t pick this place even if it’s the last thing available.

Was denied a booking after the central help desk confirmed it.

Terrible communication between the central desk and the hotel. The person at the central desk said that the room is available and we can get there directly and pay. On reaching the hotel, the manager refuses because he has a big group coming in and they wanted an extra room. To top all this, the room was still available on online forums.
