Second visit to this beautifully maintained bungalow by Tanaji with clean swimming pool, open dining area & very clean tastefully done rooms. Prompt fresh local catering gave it a very special touch. Free WiFi available too.

This place is perfect for large groups or families. A small family of 2-4 people would be lonely here especially if they visit during off season. The bungalows are well maintained and clean. The food is what you would eat at home, do not expect any hotel level cooking here. The only complaint I had was its difficult to locate and reach. There are clear indicators everywhere but its just a bit remote and not something you pass by while driving. The approach road too is in bad shape. But still I had a lovely time here!

It is also called the "Mini Mahabaleshwar" (Mahabaleshwar is a hill station in Maharashtra) because of its cool climate throughout the year. It is blessed with abundant natural beauty and enjoys greenery throughout the year. I have been here three times. Its a property of bunglows which I think were built under second home schemes and they are rented out for tourists and visitors. The location is good, near to the bust depot and yet away from the crowd. Its beautiful, peaceful. I cannot vouch for ll the bunglows but can saftely say that many of the bunglows are well kept. They have ac as well as non a.c bunglows. The last time I had been there I had rented apartment Lotus. It was very well maintained. They also serve very good food.

They have got few bungalows to stay. The place is surrounded by mountains with lots of greens if you happen to go after monsoon. This could be the right place to start your journey of coastal Maharashtra. We stayed here for couple of days & traveled to Murud, which is around 5-6 kms to enjoy the beach. Lot of sports activities happen at Murud. Also it is less crowded. Better than Tarkarli, which is more commercialized & dense. They serve Veg food on the buffet but you can order non-veg food if you want. The spread is awesome every-time, all the time. Being a non-vegetarian I will be honest to say I didn't missed it. From here on you can start your travel to rest of the coastal front.
