We took 2 standard AC rooms for 1 night / 2 days, with 6 members including my 7 years old daughter, my wife, uncle, aunt and 68 years old mother-in-law. Check-in was fast (you need to carry ID cards for all members in some form; even a digital copy on mobile will do). Observations - 1. The two rooms had beds of bit different sizes, though that did not make any difference to us as we were able to accordingly adjust in two rooms. Three adults can sleep comfortably. 2. One room had a table and chair, other room did not have them. We pointed that out later, but they did not bring them in. 3. The food was very good and tasty, but on spicier side (even adults felt it; could be made a bit mild). We had to order plain rice, dal and potato fries separately for my daughter. Thali is the value for money offering. Cafeteria is good and very clean. Attendants were cordial. 4. Rooms were overall clean but not spic and span - walls had numerous dust markings and door frames had a few cobwebs towards the bottom. Otherwise, bathrooms were very clean. 5. Water was 24x7 available and geyser was there if you need it hot. As I said, bathrooms were spic and span. 1 soap, 1 shampoo sachet and a towel were provided for each room. 6. While we ordered tea in-room, the tray was not cleaned (tea traces all around including at bottom). Since we did not have any table in the room, it was directly placed on the bed by waiter (instead of getting the table first) which stained the bed sheet. Tea was also cold; it was brought open in cups instead of in a flask. 7. One room did not have the TV remote working. While someone was called to fix it, he came and simply switched on the TV directly, and told us that you don't have to use the remote to do it anyway! 8. Breakfast was very busy time and cafeteria was struggling to keep up the food in stock in line with the guest inflow. They managed with smile, but we had a bit of waiting time to get puris and curry at intervals. 9. Location is a BIG PLUS POINT for the hotel; very near to the beach at walking distance. 10. We got rooms 207 and 208 which did not have sea view (another hotel at front of our balconies). We checked briefly other rooms later (while they were open for cleaning after guest checkouts); the front ones had side views of sea from balcony.
