This was perhaps one of the best vacations that I have had in a very long time. Don't expect anything fancy as it is a budget hotel, but it has a view that is worth a million bucks. The staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. All things said and done - go to this place if you are looking some peace of mind, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed in this Hotel for one night during our week long trip of Jim Corbett-Ranikhet-Nainital in December 2017. We booked two rooms in the hotel and occupancy was close to zero on day of our arrival. Rooms are quite basic, with minimal furnishing.Upholstery is bit old with signs of wear and tear. As it is the budget hotel you shouldn't come expecting everything spick and span. Rooms have a wardrobe and geyser in the attached washrooms. Rooms in the back side of the hotel open upto nice views of mountain peaks and a beautiful valley. Staff was co-operative but food items were overpriced.

Near our house in Majhkali, Sahaj restaurant, situated close to Umang shop, on the road from Ranikhet to Majhkali, is a nice clean place to stop for tea, pakodas, omelet, Toast and coffee. Of course if u have time, they will prepare a meal. It’s not so much the food but the opportunity to soak in the mountainside and the snow peaks of Trishul and Nandadevi in the distance north. So give your driver and car a rest, have a break and also visit Umang shop for locally made wares- woollens, jams, tea, walnuts and pickles. Pay cash, not by credit card, and give clear instructions to manager how you want your tea and coffee made.

A lovely hotel by the side of the road, spacious clean rooms with a view of the countryside, and if you're lucky the Himalayas. 24 hour hot-water (your own geezer). We intended to stay one night but stayed two because it was such a nice place.

Very Expensive with Poor Quality of Service and Food Provided.....Not even have the courtesy to negotiate on account of Customer Satisfaction. Though a peaceful place with OK Staff....Still Seriously does not worth the money they charge.
