A Good place to spend time.No need to go out Alila Goa has it's own beach and shuttle service. Kids enjoyed the kids pool as well as the play area and mini theatre movie 🍿 time.Thank you for a pleasant stay at your premises,which is well maintained and very hygienic.I have nothing to complain .Once again Thank you to your team for everything

Its totally a 5 rating hotel, I've given 4 rating to grab staff attention to some things which i didn't appreciate, at the end. I had a really great stay at the hotel. I was not new to the hotel, I visit this hotel regularly for their outstanding, and as per me Goa's be brunch, the Vivo Sunday brunch. This time i stayed here to celebrate my mother's birthday. Some reviews i read about the rooms looking aged. That's absolutely not the case. The rooms are modern, luxurious, looking very new, and huge. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels, i didn't find more better tv than here. Things and people i really want to appreciate: 1. Great welcome drink and cold towel were offered at check in. I know its common, but many hotels are doing away with this thing. It's a great gesture. 2. The beach shuttle: Its a great facility provided by the hotel. Just that at check in it should be told. 3. Spice studio restaurant: Our dinner was included in vivo restaurant, so we had light bites at spice studio. Everyone visiting the hotel must have a meal there. The atmosphere, the live singer, the vibe, the food taste, everything is outstanding. But most important is the service. It was one of the best i ever had. Mr Mahesh served us, and he was really outstanding, professional, and catering. 4. Mini theater: Its not a gimmick theater. Its a true theater this hotel has, which is very entertaining. 5. The swimming pool is great, and well maintained. 6. Overall this property is very well maintained, everywhere someone is wiping clean something or the other. Attention to detail to cleanliness is great. 7.I had called a day before my check in, and Ms.Josica speaked on the phone. Generally in other hotels you get helpline treatment on phone, and 5 star treatment when you reach the hotel. But Ms. Josica was an angel to speak. 8. On check in day i got a courtesy call, asking if everything was ok, its a great gesture, and whatever i told, was fixed quickly. 9. The housekeeping staff came to offer turn down service in the evening. Gestures like this truly separate a good 5 star hotel from others. 10. The vibe of the hotel: Fortunately, there was no wedding or something when i stayed at the hotel, like many others wrote a review. I can confirm, if there is nothing like a wedding, the peaceful environment here is unmatched. I stayed in properties in the middle of Himalayas, surrounding which there's nothing, but this hotel is more peaceful. 11. The security person at the lobby is a great person. Very professional. I think his name was Mr. Mulan, i couldn't see from a distance his name tag. The way he interacts with guest is great. The service where I had dinner, vivo restaurant was very good. Unfortunately for dinner there was no buffet. We had to order ala carte. I didn't think the food taste was toooo good, it was alright. Deserts were very tasty. I've seen this in many 5 star hotels, when buffet all day dining kind of restaurants are forced to give ala carte dishes, they are not very good. I wish, since buffet was not there, i could have been given an option to have included dinner at spice studio. Breakfast at the same restaurant was good, nothing was missing, but i don't know because of low occupancy on the day i was staying or because of my too much expectation because of their great brunch at the same restaurant, the breakfast spread did feel underwhelming. Some things I didn't appreciate: 1. Phone call asking check out time: At the time of check-in, the staff had asked me what time I would be checking out. I told them the regular time of 12 pm. On the paper i signed, it was printed, so they had confirmed what was printed. Great!!!! On the check out day,which was the next day in my case, I get a call in my room asking what my check out time would be. The call was at about 11 am. We were like many people do, having a nap before our onward journey, from 10 am after breakfast, till 12 pm. For a long stay ok, but for 1 night stay, i just said 1 day before i would be leaving at 12, still a call. So why ask at check-in? I really didn't appreciate my nap being interrupted. 2.There was nothing like welcome amenities kept in room, like fruits, chocolates. If this is not a thing followed here, hotel should start something like that, its a great gesture. But I think they have this thing, but i didn't recieve it, because i saw a cart with that stuff. It must be something else someone else. If they forgot, the housekeeping should start a checklist. The refill for the Mosquito repellent machine was missing, attention to detail is important. 3.Its really nothing, its just that I'm such a regular customer for their brunch (i did identify myself as such in the special requests section while booking), and when i came here to stay, not simply but to celebrate a birthday. So I had, i know a big expectation, of getting a small room upgrade. Gimmicky birthday gestures like towel decoration and cake is also appreciated, a hard gesture like upgrade atleast when occupancy is low, for a special occasion, for a regular customer, is more appreciated. I really had a great stay the hotel, i will be returning soon. I thank all the staff who made my stay great. I hope the 3 people I named, Ms. Josica, Mr. Mahesh and Mr. Mulan are truly appreciated.
