The problem with the hotel is in its location - far off from the important parts of the town. This will force you to hire a cab from the hotel, which is handled by Shah transport - by Aenab and Aquib who are partners. This trap has to be avoided at all cost. The duo are dishonest, charge a bomb and will always try to force you to go by their preferred itinerary. The hotel would have gotten a better review if the car service offered from the front desk hadn't given such a bitter experience.

Stayed in Montreal for 2 nights with family on 28th and 29th March, 2024. Although it is supposed to be 4* it sadly lacks on many fronts. Firstly it is too far from any of the main attractions,Dal lake included. No transportation is available excepting hotel cab or own. The room booked by us was of Mountain view but the mountain was hardly visible, construction work was going on which was noisy & dusty. The premises have a single lift which is used for luggage also the wait is long & guests are supposed to wait while loading & unloading of same is done on different floors. The dining area / kitchen is underground with no lift access so difficult for disabled or those who find it difficult to use stairs,to go down one floor for dining. Also it could be a fire hazard as there was no other exit as informed by staff. Food was so oily in room service that we returned some of it uneaten. The food that was sent in room service was uncovered right from the basement to our room. This is totally unhygienic. When we brought it to the attention of the restaurant they informed us that it is their policy to send the food uncovered. Although rooms are spacious & well furnished, service is good too but would advise travellers to avoid......it is so far away once you are in the hotel you are stuck inside unless you are ready to shell out big bucks to even go to the nearest Dal lake ghats.

Our room is very clean and enjoying the scenery of the snow mountain from the hotel and the staff is very good one. Absolutely there service had no doubt. Reception area Mr Shakir nabi and housekeeping mr.danesh given very good service. Mainly it is near br very famous Shalimar Garden. Regards Sachin Mandhare Pune maharashtra

Good property , book 2 premium rooms for 2 nights.room service ,food cleanliness and overall experience was good.it is in outskirts of dal lake near Nishad garden.for 4-5k price with breakfast and dinner ,this is good deal ,avoid houseboat stays ,it’s surrounding is not clean neither the houseboat interiors
