I stayed in this new hotel called Hotel Meri Haveli which is owned by Fifu who runs Fifu Guest House (where I have stayed on many trips to Jaisalmer). Located just accross the laneway from the other guest house, Hotel Meri Haveli is a step up in terms of the rooms and also has the same amazing and freindly service offered at Fifu. The rooms and bathrooms are large and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms are great - they have hot water when needed! As I traveled in summer the room was so cool even without AC or fan - but these were available in the room also. Everything was clean and fresh. There is an enclosed dining room and rooftop where I spent many a morning or afternoon resting and reading with a view to the Jaisalmer Fort. I enjoyed delicious breakfast, snacks and drinks made by the staff in their small kitchen. The 2nd best part about this property is that it is a little bit out of the main city (about 10 mins walk). This means that you are able to relax in your room or in the dining room or terrace without traffic noise. The best part about the property is Fifu, his son Lucky and the amazing staff Misry, Asu, Bhoma and Sodha who are so kind and helpful. This time I was traveling on my own and felt safe and secure at Hotel Meri Haveli. Recommend for everyone coming to Jaisalmer to stay here!

This hotel is under the Fifu unit and is only a year old. We were the only guests on the one night due to it being the end of the season. The place is brand new and looks it! The room was beautiful with a lovely window bed and large double, a small balcony area and a lovely marble shower room. The beds were soft and comfortable. The room had a fridge but surprisingly did not have a safe. The location is good as it is walking distance to the fort and nearby restaurants but the road to the hotel is very bumpy and dusty (not the hotels fault). The breakfast was only for us and they provided a lovely spread on our table with perfectly cooked eggs, toast, jam, honey, watermelon, juice and tea/coffee. There is a lovely view over the fort from the breakfast area and rooftop terrace. The staff were very helpful and polite without being too fussy which was the perfect service in our opinion. We also met the owner and had a nice chat with him, he made us feel very welcome and was interested to know what we thought of the hotel. Highly recommend!

Booking at Meri Haveli is THE place to book whithout hesitation. The construction is a real and authentic Haveli decorated with good taste. The charm is unique. Fifu, the owner is the king of hospitality. As soon as you enter you will feel his Goodwill and Kindness like nowhere else. The staff is nice and very attentive. The food at the roof top is perfect. The view of the Fort is gorgeous. The comfort of the bedroom, mattress, pillows, towels is exceptional and the Biotique soaps, shower gel and body lotion are amazing. Thank you Fifu Ji for everything. I will definitely come back in October.

I learned about Meri Haveli from a friend, who told me it was the place to stay if I ever visited Jaisalmer. Now, after spending ten days there, I truly understand why. From the moment you step through the door, you forget that you are staying in a hotel. First of all, the host treats you like a cherished member of the family and quickly becomes your guide through the enchanting experience of staying in the Golden City. Then, upon entering your room, you gain the strong feeling that a time machine has finally been invented and someone has taken you back in time to the palace of the Maharaja. The seamlessly integrated traditional haveli style is complemented by a touch of luxury reminiscent of the era of kings. And just when you think the experience couldn't get any better, you embark on a desert tour. It's tailor-made for every taste - for the adventurous spirit, there's wild camping, while those with a penchant for culture can enjoy a traditional bonfire. All this amidst a million-star hotel, where you can actually see the stars above your head. I won't say more, as such an experience is best enjoyed firsthand. Gratitude to Hotel Meri Haveli and its owner, Fifu.

Best accommodation in Jaisalmer, feels like a second home. Staff are friendly, they will look after everything. All you have to do is book a stay there and once you arrive you will be received like a family member. Spacious room and its pocket friendly. Also if you want to explore jaisalmer and its surroundings in a authentic way just them , night in desert on open sky is a experience to live … Special thanks to Fifu ji for your detailed explanation on desert’s people and life.will sure comeback with family a day…
