We stayed for two nights in early April, after arriving at 8am we’re were welcomed by the manager who allowed us to check in early. This hotel is without a doubt beautiful! It has modern rooms in the Rajasthani theme. We had a superior room and it was exactly as depicted in the hotel photos. The bed was the ne of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve had on our RTW trip. The outdoor spaces provide shade and shelter form the afternoon sun and heat and the pool is a good size to cool off at days end. From the rooftop bar and restaurant there are direct and stunning views of the fort which tempt the holidaymaker to venture up. All in all this hotel is excellent value and is one I’ll stay in again when we return

What a stunning hotel. Truly beautiful and exceeded our expectations on aesthetics and amenities (pool, air conditioning, breakfast included, sitting room, WiFi, in room refrigerator, water). The primary challenge we had was hospitality. We weren't exactly welcomed when we walked in, and it took some effort to determine how we checked in and with whom. Once we got that sorted, we were off to take a hot shower, only to learn that the hot water wasn't turned on in one of the rooms we had booked. While not a show stopper, these two points of friction upon check in weren't ideal after a long travel day. And there was a bit of construction going on next door. That said, this place is really lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the amenities are there - it just requires a bit more patience to negotiate, so plan accordingly.

We were stunned by the beauty of this property, our room was outstanding, better than the room we had at Lake Palace Udaipur, enormous beautiful room and bathroom, everything is done with taste, down to even the glasses on the tea tray! The owner has an amazing eye for detail and the place in immaculately clean. The only thing that was better than the room was the hospitality, we have never had hospitality like it! We stayed during Ramadan, and each evening at sunset, we were given fruits and beautiful deserts, on the Friday of our stay, we were invited to join with the meal at sunset and had the most wonderful Laal maas, we had a wonderful evening chatting to friends of the owner and himself and felt humbled by such amazing hospitality, we would return in a heartbeat. The pool is beautiful to relax by and the two little doggies are the cutest! The staff are lovely and helpful and the best coffee we found in India! Jaisalmer is probably my favourite city in India, so when we return, this is where we will stay along with the Grand Khalifa luxury camp. We wish every success to this wonderful hotel.
