Very badly maintained rooms with dirty linen,damp wall,no proper security ,A.c. not functioning properly, even light inside the rooms are fuse, door lock broken moreover local manager totally irresponsible person ,doesn't even give a ear to guest problem, we had to literally run away very next day inspite of booking for 3 days because of this worse maintenance and much worse management staff of the hotel.Advice please don't make any advance booking at this hotel,totally dissatisfied, frustrating, disappointing facilities for guest,their only concerned with extracting money from guest but big zero service.

We happened to be there for a short outing and for a 3nights stay and relaxation. What we got in return was a nightmarish experience with kids and toddlers and what kind of forced us to flee the following day...what we understood and an advise to fellow travelers..." Please do not go by the photos they have put up on internet, will be misguided" Pathetic attitude of people, stinking and musty rooms, air conditioners not working, loose wirings in rooms, dirty/torn/stained linen, wornout features, non functioning TV , door latch coming off and no repairs done, moulds inside rooms, NO SENSE OF GUEST SECURITY, pathetic quality of basic food, non operational bathroom flush, water clogging in bathrooms, completely incompetent bunch of people with zero sense of responsibility...all these in a nutshell. Well I got a feel the owners are least bothered about their customers and while I may be terribly wrong saying this, but got a feel that they are either jokers or goons back in Kolkata. Their F*#k U attitude towards the customers and shameless poker face managed to screw up our holidays and hard earned money. You will find stray dogs and rats next to your room to give you company in case you are looking for one... Please do not take a chance with this place as you really do not know what happens to you the next moment. SCARY....

Wonderfully big hotel property

I with my family went to chandipur in January 18. Anadamayee was big and beautifully green. The hotel consists of 4 buildings. We had our non ac double beds in the front row of blocks on 1st floor. Rooms were specious with balcony and big bathrooms. Furnishing could be a little modern. However the size of toilet was really good. In contrary the Restaurant was very decorative and thoughtfylly designed. We had fabulous bengali fish dishes there. We had a beautiful stay in the property.

What picture we see on interest is not matching with reality. No room-service is available. Bell, telephone, goodknight all are in the room but none is working. Food is most costly. Rice is 50/- per plate, which is insufficient for an Audult, costlyest among all the hotels in Chandipur. Behaviour of the staffs is not fair at all. Lights in the room are not available for 24 hours. Wash-room doors are not been able to lock. I, Sanjoy Banerjee (9433952756) went Chandipur and stayed Anandamoyee hotel for 3 days and have lunch and dinner on the first day and been charged more than Rs.1000/- for one day. On every item service charge is being taken but no proper service is being provided. Hotel staffs are not interest to group the tourists for sightseeing. They charge from the tourists individually which incurs higher costs. Therefore my dear Tourists - go Chandipur but not avail Anandamoyee Hotel fooding and laudging in your trip.

I stayed there with a group of four different families in Feb,2017. We booked a dorm of 8 beds there. Lizard's potty and living lizards took our sleep off. We had no other options to move to other hotels (because they were booked), hence we stayed there. But I can not forget those days. Their food is so expensive and of so bad quality that we used to drive to beach for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Once we ordered Gurjali fish and got 6 fishes of length 3inches for Rs-425+10% tax. Those were most expensive fishes in my life- yet tasted like local frozen fishes. There was a honeycomb behind the mirror inside bathroom. I went to take a bath in morning and 2 bees stung me. Just imagine what could have happened had it been my 3 years old son instead of me. Guys do not stay there otherwise you will regret later.
